The Patient Service Representative's primary responsibilities include patient relations, scheduling appointments, insurance billing and payment processing. Prior dental experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will have superior customer service skills and a professional attitude.

Essential Functions
Answer phones and assist callers
Greet and assist patients upon arrival
Update patient information charts and computer records as needed
Schedule patient appointments
Check patients out after visit
Collect and record payment from patients on day of service
Prepare new patient information forms and send to new patients at time appointment is scheduled
Prepare new patient charts and collect all insurance information
Print care slips and schedules for next day
Review patient insurance eligibility
Establish and maintain patient call list
Send missed appointment letters
Pull and file charts, insurance claims, and EOB's
Review schedules for accuracy, completeness and productivity
Confirm patient appointments
Prepare referral information for patients being referred to another clinic
Prepare daily bank deposit
Complete and balance day - send daily numbers to corporate office
