Essential Functions
Prepare hygiene bays for treatment
Greet and prepare patients for treatment
Expose, process, and evaluate the quality of radiographs
Perform a professional dental prophylaxis, including the removal of stains, plaque and calculus from teeth, crowns and root surfaces of teeth
Perform periodontal and caries risk assessments
Provide additional professional services including scaling and root planing
Place temporary fillings
Remove sutures
Record case histories and chart conditions of the oral cavity
Apply sealants and topical fluoride treatments
Instruct patients post-operatively with preventive and therapeutic care plans
