The Dental Assistant's primary responsibilities are chair-side assisting and sterilization. The ideal candidate will have previous dental assisting experience or a dental assisting certificate. Although experience is preferred, we will train the right person for the position.

Essential Functions
Greet and prepare patients for treatment
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment by handing them instruments and materials while keeping the patients' mouth dry and clear by using suction and other devices
Prepare tray setups for dental procedures
Prepare treatment rooms and instruments
Make casts of the teeth and mouth from impressions taken by dentists
Clean and polish removable appliances
Make temporary crowns
Arrange and confirm appointments
Document treatment and other notes in patient charts
Order dental supplies and materials
Expose, process and mount radiographs
Provide patient education and post-treatment instructions
