  • Business Operations - Handles contract negotiations with insurance providers and focuses on practice evolution, ensuring efficient productivity and profitability
  • Clinical Coordination - Handles all supply ordering, orientation/training of new staff, and seeks out Continuing Education opportunities for doctors and staff
  • Collections - Follows up on outstanding balances and helps to manage accounts receivable
  • Finance - Processes all accounts payable and ensures timely accurate payment
  • Human Resources - Handles staffing, benefits management, payroll, team building, continuing education, 401K, etc.
  • Insurance Processing - Ensures that claims are quickly and accurately processed
  • Marketing - Handles all the advertising needs of the practice, special events, public relations and community development

Prospective or Recent Graduates

Originally from Iowa, Andrew attended Wartburg College located in Waverly, IA where he completed his BA in Education and Human Relations.

Following graduation, Andrew and his wife Melissa relocated to Eau Claire, WI. His college athletic experience allowed him the opportunity to attend graduate school and coach football at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. While at the university, Andrew coordinated all recruiting efforts of the football program in conjunction with assisting the other intercollegiate programs recruit student athletes.

At the conclusion of his graduate position, Andrew was selected to join Midwest Dental as the Staffing Coordinator in 1998.

After three years with Midwest Dental, Andrew took a position with a communications company headquartered in Chicago, IL. As the Director of Human Resources for APAC Customer Services, Andrew gained valuable experience in the following areas; professional recruiting/retention, formal business training design and implementation, organizational development, and client acquisition/retention. This experience allowed Andrew to assume his current role within Midwest Dental as the Director of Professional Development. Andrew's focus is recruiting top quality dentists for existing Midwest and Mountain Dental practices in addition to working with new practice acquisitions. Outside of work, Andrew can be found spending time with his bride Melissa and their son Nicholas. His free time is spent with his family and friends. His hobbies include fishing, boating, golfing, and watching the Chicago Bears and Iowa Hawkeyes.
